About

Hi, I'm Matt Hrdlicka.

About ten years ago, I was in the worst shape of my life. I was off track and knew I needed to make a change, go after a new goal. I set my sights on my first marathon. Problem was, I didn’t know how to get started. How do you go from a casual jog to 26 grueling miles? 

Through trial and error, I learned what types of foods to eat, which equipment to use, and how to develop a training plan that worked. I ran that first marathon. And now, many marathons later, setting that goal years ago was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 

Crossing the finish line of a race is just the icing on a cake - it’s the time that goes into that milestone that is the true reward. You learn to push your limits, navigate self-doubt, put yourself first, and challenge barriers -- not just in running, but throughout life. Running is a mindset. 

Today, I’m a certified running coach fueled by the opportunity to help others achieve their goals. Whether it's running that first 5k or setting a qualifying time for an international marathon, together, we will work to set the training program that works best for you.
